The New Orleans Saints will play their NFL American Football regular-season opener this weekend at the Superdome as originally scheduled.
After evacuating to Indianapolis over the weekend because of Hurricane Gustav and preparing for their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers there, the Saints are expected to return to the New Orleans area tomorrow or Saturday.
The Superdome sustained no significant damage as Hurricane Gustav passed through Louisiana.
There have been concerns about the timing of re-entry for New Orleans residents and Superdome workers, but organisers are confident they'll get most of their workers back in time.
