Cameron Brown will race in a standard triathlon distance event in Toulouse this weekend as he counts down to next month's Hawaii Ironman.
Brown has been preparing for the Kona event at the Triathlon New Zealand base in France.
He'll spend two more weeks in France before heading to Austin in Texas for his final training block.
Temperatures there will be in the mid to high 30's, which Brown feels will be the ideal build up to the lava fields of Kona.
