All main centres to get All Blacks tests next year

The All Blacks will play home Test matches in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and Dunedin next year.

They'll start their season in June with 2 tests against France at Carisbrook and in Wellington.... then they'll play Italy in Christchurch.

In the Tri-Nations in July, the All Blacks will play Australia at Eden Park, South Africa in Hamilton and Australia in Wellington.

NZRU CEO Steve Tew says with Eden Park and AMI Stadium in Christchurch undergoing reconstruction they had a lower than normal capacity and, as a result, the NZRU faced a juggling act in allocating the Test matches.

He says they think it's important to continue to recognise the efforts that the Otago RFU, the Carisbrook Stadium Trust and the city of Dunedin are making towards a new stadium development.

Tew says they're also happy that Test rugby is returning to the Waikato in 2009 after they missed out on a Test this year.
