Prime Minister Bruce Golding and hundreds of Jamaicans welcomed triple Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt home in Kingston after his triumphs in Beijing.

Hundreds of flag-waving Jamaicans waited along the road outside the airport hoping to get a glimpse of Bolt as he was taken by a convertible in a motorcade to a hotel where he will hold a news conference.

In Beijing, Bolt broke the world records for the 100 metres the 200 metres and was then a member of the 4 by 100 metres world record-breaking relay quartet.
