The young Christchurch swimmer Sophie Pascoe has qualified fastest for the final of the 100m breaststroke at the Beijing Paralympics.
Pascoe, who's 15 years old, has already won a silver in the 100m butterfly.
She finished in 1minute24.54seconds more than a second faster than the next best qualifier Kate Gray of Britain.
The final is just after 9pm tonight.
In the men's 50m butterfly Cameron Leslie qualified 6th fastest.
