Federer already looking to London Olympics

6:49 am on 11 September 2008

A reinvigorated Roger Federer is already setting his goals for the next four years and beyond in the wake of his fifth successive U.S. Tennis Open win.

His 13th grand slam title resurrected an otherwise disappointing year for the former world number one, with fans and pundits alike were predicting Federer time at the top was over.

After just 20 minutes sleep in the wake of his latest success after celebrating with family and friends Federer says the win is better than 2003 when he had his first win at Wimbledon.

He is still irked by the comments made by some former champions, including Swedish great Bjorn Borg, who were ready to write him off after his three-set loss to Rafael Nadal in the French Open final.
