Wallabies captain defends discipline

8:13 am on 13 September 2008

The Australian rugby captain, Stirling Mortlock, has defended his side's discipline ahead of tonight's Tri-nations decider against the All Blacks in Brisbane.

While Mortlock lamented the Wallabies' poor discipline in the 26-12 defeat to New Zealand at Eden Park last month he believes his side has learned its lessons and has improved discipline and belief under Robbie Deans.

Meanwhile New Zealand tighthead prop John Afoa has been confirmed as a replacement.

Afoa had been bracketed with Neemia Tialata after struggling with a shoulder injury.
