The Warriors are warning rugby league fans that buying scalped tickets could see them banned from the semi final match against the Sydney Roosters, at Mt Smart stadium on Friday night.
Chief executive Wayne Scurrah has issued a buyer-beware warning to anyone considering buying scalped tickets on the internet, pointing out there's a warning about on-selling the tickets printed on them.
Prices for two tickets with a face value of $80 are going for $400 on the Trade me although it's brought an angry response from some league fans who are threatening sellers.
Scurrah says the warning states tickets can't be on sold for a profit and they will void any ticket bought from a scalper, happened last in the play offs against the Paramatta Eels.
Meanwhile Warriors coach Ivan Cleary has had the luxury of naming the same starting lineup for the third week running.
