9:02 am on 18 September 2008

The first three days of the third Ashes cricket Test between England and Australia at Edgbaston are already sold out, more than 10 months before the game.

Warwickshire's cricket club is the first of the five venues to put tickets on sale, the second being Headingley at the beginning of next month.

Details of ticket sales for the other Tests at Cardiff, Lord's and the Oval are yet to be announced.

The 8 thousand tickets that went on sale to the public, priced at almost 200 dollars each, were snapped up in 2 and a half days.
