The All Blacks lock Ali Williams is to return to Auckland having spent this year playing his Super 14 rugby for the Crusaders, after falling out with the Blues coach David Nucifora.
Pre-match boozing, disrespecting teammates and a loose-lipped comment to a service worker saw him sent home from the Blues trip to South Africa last year.
With Nucifora now having moved back to Australia, Williams has today announced he's signed two year deal with his old province.
Blues coach Pat Lam says he hasn't spoken to Williams about his falling out with Nucifora but says if there were still concerns within the franchise about Williams behaviour he wouldn't be coming back.
