The Golden Gate Yacht Club in San Francisco says it has again formally offered to end its legal battle over the next America's Cup.
The club which has challenged for the Cup through the BMW Oracle syndicate says it will end its legal challenge if holders Alinghi immediately agrees to hold the next edition as a conventional, multi challenger regatta similar to the one in Valencia in 2007.
The two syndicates have been at loggerheads with Oracle upset at the club Alinghi had selected to be the challengers representative and a one-on-one multi-hull challenge remains on the cards.
