Business as usual for team NZ in A1GP

Despite speculation over the future of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport it's business as usual for Team New Zealand with the start of season in the Netherlands now just over a week away.

Team New Zealand's expecting an announcement early next week confirming the championship's stability.

Meanwhile the focus is on going one better than the consecutive second places in the past two seasons.

The 18-year-old Wanganui driver Earl Bamber has completed 68 laps at Snetterton overnight in England in the final pre season test .

His best lap of 57.6 seconds was 0.1 seconds faster than the official A1GP test car.

He says the Ferrari-powered car's PowerBoost button will mean lots of overtaking and is really impressive.

The decision on who will drive for New Zealand at Zandvoort will be announced in the next few days.
