Breakers coach lauds three-point shooting

The Breakers can thank some great three-point shooting in the fourth quarter for their upset 120-111 win over the the defending champions, the Melbourne Tigers.

The victory at the North Shore Events Centre was their second in two games this season in the Australian National Basketball League.

The Breakers are equal top of the table and coach Andrej Lemanis says they made the most of their chances, landing 20 of their 37 shots from outside the arc while the Tigers could manage only six from 22.

Andrej Lemanis's new Australian import, CJ Bruton, finished with 23 points, along with Tony Ronaldson and Oscar Forman, while Kirk Penney got 20.
