The New Zealand rugby Union Chief executive Steve tew says the Northland and Tasman rugby teams have to reward their communities after being retained in next year's top provincial competition.
The two provinces have swayed the NZRFU to keep them in the Air New Zealand Cup and Tew says their arguments were based on the good of the areas they represent.
