7:06 am on 1 October 2008

The Warriors rugby league side has been outclassed 32-6 by Manly in their National Rugby League preliminary final in Sydney.

Leading 12-0 at halftime the Sea Eagles were up 22-0 after 51 minutes.

The scoreline might have been worse for the Warriors had halfback Matt Orford converted more than his one from five kicks at goal.

The Warriors could find no way through the stifling Manly defence during the first half and only managed a 75th minute consolation try to winger Aidan Kirk.

Manly has set up the NRL grand final rematc against Melbourne who they will meet for the second consecutive season at ANZ Stadium next Sunday.
