The Wellington Phoenix football side has captured its first A League win of the season with a 2-1 victory against Sydney FC in the capital.
A 76th-minute strike from midfielder Tim Brown sealed the Phoenix's first win in six rounds.
The Phoenix had made seven changes in personnel through injury, illness and form from the starting lineup that lost in Perth the previous week.
The game was locked at one-all at half time.
