Bosnich expects to be fit for Phoenix game

The Central Coast goalkeeper Mark Bosnich is expected to be fit for the final match of his short term contract with the A-League football club against the Wellington Phoenix.

It was initially feared Bosnich's stint with the Mariners was over after the former Aston Villa keeper sustained a hamstring injury at the start of his side's 4-1 win over Perth last Friday.

But instead of being torn as feared, Bosnich says it's a strain and he expects to be available for the match against Wellington in Gosford in a fortnight, his last scheduled game in the seven-week contract with the Mariners.
