The Olympic track cycling silver medalist Hayden Roulston is returning to the European road tour in November when he'll join the new French Cervelo Test Team.

Roulston's already ridden in Europe for Cofidis and also stepped down from Lance Armstrong's Discovery Channel team because he didn't think he could do his job properly then.

He says having had a taste, and after making a full recovery from a heart condition that threatened to end his career, he wants to make the most of it this time.

His new team is based around theTour de France winner Carlos Sastre of Spain and Norway's six-time stage winner Thor Hushovd.

Roulston says his team's told him they see untapped potential and if that gets him into the Tour de France, he'll just go for it.
