South Sydney is set to play National Rugby League "home" matches in Perth and Gosford next season.

The Rabbitohs' home game against current premiers Melbourne will be held in Perth, giving Western Australia its first taste of NRL action since 2005.

Souths chief executive Shane Richardson has also indicated a home match against Newcastle will be played in Gosford on the New South Wales central coast, as the club looks to spread its brand and boost revenue.
