The injury plagued first five Jonny Wilkinson is in doubt for England's rugby tests next month against the All Blacks, Australia and South Africa after suffering suspected knee ligament damage during a club match for Newcastle.
The 29-year-old, who hardly played between the 2003 and 2007 World Cups, only returned from a six-month lay-off in September following shoulder surgery.
