Flynn makes return to Canterbury starting lineup

The former All Blacks hooker Corey Flynn will make his first run on start of the season for Canterbury Friday night's Air New Zealand cup match against Southland in Invercargill.

Flynn has come off the bench for matches agaisnt Hawkes Bay and Bay of Plenty after breaking his arm in the Super 14.

Captain Kieran Read moves from openside flanker to number eight with Mose Tuiali'i relegated to the reserves with George Whitelock and Hayden Hopgood playing on the openside and blindside repsectively.

The All Blacks most capped test prop Greg Sommerville is on the bench as is Casey Laulala who's also returning from a broken arm.
