Former Hurricanes and Wellington rugby first five, Jimmy Gopperth, has extended his time with North Harbour.
His loan move to North Harbour has become permanent with him signing a one year deal with Harbour for next year's Air New Zealand Cup.
He also becomes eligible for the Blues in the Super 14 and is likely to be a contender for No 10 jersey alongside Auckland's Lachie Munro.
Harbour is in 12th position ahead of Saturday's final round Cup clash with Counties-Manukau at Mt Smart Stadium.
