Lockyer doubts Melbourne up for another great escapte

The Brisbane captain Darren Lockyer says he doubts Melbourne have another great escape left in them if Manly can put them on the ropes in Sunday's national rugby league grand final.

The Storm knocked Brisbane out of the finals with a last gasp try in their semi-final, a feat Lockyer claims could be hard to replicate.

Lockyer says he feels the the premiers were feeling the pinch after a sapping season capped off by the suspension of captain and goalkicker Cameron Smith.

He also believes Manly's hunger to avenge last year's big grand final loss will prove a strong motivating factor.
