The Wellington / Hutt valley heavyweight boxer, Jae Bryce has scored an impressive win at the national competition with his bout against Canterbury's Daniel Fidow stopped by the referee in the third round in Upper Hutt.
In the 75kg division Canterbury's Nathan McEwan and Luke Searle have had points wins.
In the 64kg division Nelson's Daniel Parkin and Canterbury's Todd Commons also had points wins.
Meanwhile in the 69kg bout between Auckland veteran Kahukura Bentson and current champ Justin Potter, also from Auckland, the ref stopped proceedings in round two in favour of Bentson.
