World champion Sebastien Loeb has dominated the opening day of the Rally of Catalonia, winning all six stages and creating a 15 second lead over Citroen teammate Dani Sordo.
Leob heads into the second day with a 44 second lead over Ford's Mikko Hirvonen who started this race in second place in the world title standings, eight points behind Loeb.
Loeb has won this race for the last three years and another victory will put him well on the road to a record breaking fifth drivers' title with just three events left in the 2008 season.
