Game worth $32 million back on

The richest game of cricket in the world looks set to go ahead after an agreement was reached between the West Indies' sponsor and the man behind the $32 million game.

The Twenty20 Stanford match between England and an all-star team from the Caribbean early next month was in doubt because of a row between telecommunications company Digicel and the West Indies Cricket Board.

The WICB lost a court case to their major sponsor, which insisted its branding rights had been infringed by the big-money series, sponsored by the billionaire Texan and cricket fan, Sir Allen Stanford.

Now it appears an accomodation has been reached after negotiations between Stanford and Digicel, which is expected to include concessions over branding for the match on November 1st.
