Brown in contention with a round to go in India

The New Zealand golfer Mark Brown, the Asian Tour Order of Merit leader, has carded a three under par 69 to be tied in fifth place after three rounds of the Indian Open.

Brown's nine under for the tournament and five shots off the lead.

China's Liang Wen-chong leads by one stroke ahead of the Australian Adam Blyth.

In Spain, Steve Alker's in a share of 24th after three rounds of the Madrid Masters tournament.
