The New Zealand motor racing driver Brendon Hartley has finished third in the International Formula 3 Championship in Britain.
The Palmerston North 18-year-old finished second in the first race of the final round at Donnington Park, but was then well down the field in the second race.
The coveted title was snatched by his Red Bull team mate Jaime Alguersuari.
The Spaniard won both races at Donington to equal Hartley's record of five outright race wins in 2008.
