Raikkonen promises to help Massa take the title

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen has promised to do everything possible to help his team mate Felipe Massa replace him as Formula One champion now his own title hopes have disappeared after he finished third in Japan.

Raikkonen says Ferrari's goal at Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai is a one-two win in the penultimate race of the season.

He says Shanghai is a very demanding track and he really likes it.

Massa is five points behind McLaren's Lewis Hamilton in the standings with 20 points still to be won.

errari are ahead in the constructors' championship, with 142 points to McLaren's 135.

Raikkonen won in China last year before sealing the title by a single point, thanks to Massa's help, with a Ferrari one-two in the season-ending race in Brazil.
