Manchester United are fifth after the champions could only draw 1-1 at Everton.

Middlesbrough also drew 1-1 at Blackburn while Sunderland beat Newcastle United 2-1.

And Celtic remain top of the Scottish Premier League after beating Hibernian 4-2. Rivals Rangers, who have a game in hand, beat Hamilton Academical 3-1.
