The New Zealander Scott Dixon has claimed second place in the Indy 300 motor race on the Gold Coast.
The Target Chip Ganassi driver finished behind Australian Ryan Briscoe in the non-championship race.
Briscoe drove faultlessly in the 60-lap race and in the process became the first ever hometown winner.
