The struggling English football side Tottenham Hotspur has beaten Bolton Wanderers 2-0 for their first win of the season in front of new manager Harry Redknapp, who replaced the sacked Juande Ramos.
Spurs have had their worst-ever start to the season with defeats against clubs such as promoted Hull City and Stoke City seeing many tipping the London club for relegation for the first time since 1977.
But Redknapp, who's moved across from Portsmouth in a deal costing Spurs 14 million dollars in compensation, says he's up for the challenge of keeping Spurs up.
He says Spurs are a big club with a lot of talent.
Despite that undoubted fact, they're also a club who are bottom of the Premier League despite the win, and Redknapp's next two challenges are considerably tougher than Bolton at White Hart Lane.
Spurs play at Arsenal midweek before Liverpool visit on the weekend.
Meanwhile Redknapp's old club Portsmouth could only draw 1-1 with Fulham after news of his shock exit cast a pall over Fratton Park.
The 61-year-old leaves Portsmouth after a successful spell at the south coast club that included steering them to their first FA Cup triumph since 1939 last season.
