Vettori strikes in Dhaka

The New Zealand cricket captain Daniel Vettori struck back at Bangladesh with a three wicket over late on the fourth day of the rain affected second test in Dhaka.

After three washed out days, New Zealand were sent in to bat and declared at 262 for 6, and Vettori wound up the day with the wickets of three top order batsmen in his first over to send the home side crashing to 13 for 3 when bad light brought an early end to the day.

Jesse Ryder and Brendon McCullum dominated the New Zealand batting effort with 91 and 66 respectively and Daniel Flynn made an unbeaten 35.
