Argentina's striker Lionel Messi insists he can work the with Diego Maradona, despite the new national coach's his recent criticisms of the Barcelona star.
Messi has told an Italian sports daily he has no problems with news that Maradona has been appointed coach, and says he admires him for what he has given Argentinian football.
Maradona criticised Messi last month, saying the 21-year-old is selfish and arrogant.
But Messi insists the attack is in the past and he knows Maradona appreciates him.
