Kjeldsen wins in Spain, Karlsson becomes European no 1

The Danish golfer Soren Kjeldsen completed an all-the-way win in the European tour finale, the Volvo Masters at Valderrama in Spain.

Kjeldsen won the title by two strokes from the rising German star Martin Kaymer and England's Anthony Wall, with Lee Westwood fourth.

Westwood lost the race for the money list honours this year to Robert Karlsson, who became the Sweden's first European number one.

New Zealander Mark Brown had a final round of 74 at Valderrama to finish 44th in the field of 57.
