Phill Jones suspended

The New Zealand Breakers guard Phill Jones will miss Thursday night's home game against Adelaide after incurring a one match suspension from the Australian National Basketball League Tribunal.

He was charged with striking after an incident involving Shawn Redhage in the Breakers-Wildcats game at the North Shore Events Centre last Thursday.

The Tribunal Chairman Ken Madsen says given Jones' immediate guilty plea and his good standing in the game, a one game penalty is sufficient.
