New Zealand have dropped to 4th after the second round of the A1 GP of Motorsport in China.
With Chris van der Drift driving, New Zealand finished 7th in the sprint race and 11th in the feature race.
Ireland won the sprint race and were second in the feature race which was taken by Portugal for their first ever victory.
Malaysia top the standings with 28 points, followed by Ireland and France with 23 and New Zealand with 20.
The next round is in Malaysia in a fortnight.
