The American golfer Davis Love has ended a PGA Tour title drought of more than two years with a one-shot victory at the Disney Classic in Florida.
Two off the pace going into the final round at the Walt Disney World Resort, Love held off a stunning late charge by rookie Tommy Gainey by firing an eight-under-par 64.
Love, whose last Tour triumph came at the 2006 Greensboro Classic, piled up five birdies in seven holes from the 10th before coolly saving par from a greenside bunker at the last for a 25-under tally of 263.
The New Zealander Tim Wilkinson finished tied for 33rd, 14 strokes behind Love.
