New Zealand golfers struggle at Singapore Open

The world's top amateur golfer, Rotorua's Danny Lee is the best of the New Zealand contingent at the weather marred Singapore Open.

The first two rounds have been affected with day two suspended mid afternoon becuase of lightning.

Lee is yet to complete his second round and is plus four for the tournament, 10 shots behind joint leaders, South Africa's Ernie Els and England's Simon Dyson.

Lee's compatriot Richard Lee is seven over as is Mahal Pearce while Stephen Scahill and Mark Brown are plus nine.
