Still seething over England's haka snub, the Kiwis have taken aim at the Lions for not promoting the game with coach Tony Smith making his players off limits to the media ahead of the clash.
Smith has further frustrated New Zealand by naming a 19-strong squad for the game - then conceding different players may run out tonight.
The match kicks off at 10pm.
Australia play Fiji in the other semi-final in Sydney tomorrow.
