New Zealand's champion motocross rider Katherine Prumm will have surgery this week after a dramatic crash in training.
Prumm, a double Women's World Cup winner, broke several vertebrae, after mis-timing a jump.
It is unsure how long the 20-year old Yamaha rider will be out of action.
