Former Aussie test player writes off Black Caps

The outspoken former Australian leg spinner Stuart McGill has written off the Black Caps going into their two test cricket series across the Tasman, starting on Thursday at the Gabba in Brisbane.

McGill says only thing will deny Australia a 2-nil result -- rain.

He says the left arm spinner Daniel Vettori has an amazing amount of work ahead because he's making runs and taking wickets.

New Zealand's seam attack is dismissed as boring and McGill says unless there's plenty of life in the wicket and the Black caps bowl first and take all the wickets they're in big trouble.

There's been plenty of rain around the Brisbane area since a stormy last weekend, and showers and overcast skies are forecast for the rest of the week.
