The first New Zealand Women's Open Golf Championship will be staged in January.
The inaugural New Zealand Women's Open will be held at Clearwater Resort in Christchurch from January 30th to February 1st.
The tournament will carry a prize purse of $150,000 and form part of the Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tour.
New Zealand Golf CEO Bill MacGowan says the tournament will help raise the profile of women's game and provide opportunities for young New Zealand golfers.
