The Warriors centre Brent Tate has been included in Australia's lineup for the rugby league world cup final against New Zealand in Brisbane on Saturday night.

Coach Ricky Stuart's named an unchanged lineup from that which trounced Fiji 52-nil in the semi final.

Tate suffered a hip injury in the match, while Paul Gallen the other concern suffered a thigh injury although both have been selected in the starting lineup.

Neither player trained yesterday, although Gallen is considered less of a concern than Tate.

Manly's David Williams is the most likely replacement for Tate if needed.

Australia: Billy Slater, Joel Monaghan, Greg Inglis, Israel Folau, Brent Tate, Darren Lockyer (capt), Johnathan Thurston, Petero Civoniceva, Cameron Smith, Steve Price, Glenn Stewart, Anthony Laffranchi, Paul Gallen. Interchange: Karmichael Hunt, Craig Fitzgibbon, Anthony Tupou, Brent Kite.
