The South Africa cricketers completely dominated the first day of their first test against Bangladesh after being sent in to bat in Bloemfontein.
Despite losing time to rain and bad light, the Proteas reached 299 for 1, with an unbeaten 138 from their opening batsman and captain Graeme Smith, and Hashim Amla is 103 not out.
