The ASB Tennis Classic in January is set to become one of the best yet with the confirmation of its fourth top-20 ranked player, the world Number 20, Katarina Srebotnik .
She joins the fourth-ranked Elena Dementieva, No11 Nadia Petrova and No12 Caroline Wozniacki making the top four seeds the highest in the tournament's history and will partner Petrova in the doubles.
It's only the second time the January 5-10 tournament has featured four players ranked inside the top 20. The first was two years ago.
The 2005 champion Srebotnik is at a career-high singles ranking after making eight quarter-finals or better at WTA events.
She also made the fourth round at the French and US Opens with wins over Serena Williams and Svetlana Kuznetzova.
The full player list will be announced on Wednesday.
