The Auckland tennis player G.D. Jones and his South African doubles partner Kevin Anderson have won a US 50-thousand dollar Challenger event in Knoxville.
Jones and Anderson beat the top seeded Americans Rajeev Ram and Bobby Reynolds 3-6 6-0 10-7.
It's the sixth doubles title for Jones, who's won five at the US 15-thousand dollar Futures level, and has now been full-time on the circuit for just over a year.
His sister Sacha Jones has advanced to the singles final of the US 10-thousand dollar ITF event in Manila in the Philippines, outlclassing Seo-Kyung Kang 3-6 7-6 6-1.
She now plays the seventh-seeded Indonesian Ayu-Fani Damayanti in the final.
