The New Zealand A1 GP team is 4th in the standings after the third round in Malaysia.
Earl Bamber started well down the grib, but climbed to 3rd in the sprint race behind winners Switzerland and he finished 6th in the feature race behind Ireland.
Ireland top the standings with 43 points, Portugal have 35, France and New Zealand 31.
The next round is in New Zealand in January.
