Melbourne's South Dragons are back on terms with the New Zealand Breakers at the top of the Australian National Basketball League table after a one-sided win last night over the Cairns Taipans, 102-64.
The Dragons and Breakers each have three losses, and the defending champion Melbourne Tigers failed to close the gap when they lost last night to the Townsville Crocodiles 113-105.
The Breakers are at home tonight to the in-form Perth Wildcats in what promises to be one of the matches of the season.
