Forgot man called into Aussie second test squad

7:32 am on 27 November 2008

The forgotten man of Australian cricket, the New South Wales off-spinner Nathan Hauritz has joined the Australan team in Adelaide on the eve of the second test against the Black Caps.

More than four years after playing his only test, and just after being left out of his state team, Hauritz jas joined the national squad following an ankle injury yesterday to Jaspon Krejza who's most unlikely to be fit for the test.

If Hauritz does get to play in Adelaide, he'll become the sixth spin bowler to play for Australia since Shane Warne retired.
